Join the Friends Zoom talk on Wednesday November 4th at 7.30pm and hear about the origins and growth of the City of Oxford. Ruth Buckley will talk about the location of the first settlement, Oxford’s early Saints, Sinners and Saxons and their religious and civil communities, all before the Norman Conquest. Carol Anderson, our Museum Director, will also update us on the Museum and the delights we can expect over Christmas. This is a virtual Zoom talk and requires an e-mail invitation.
